Our practice currently has opportunities for LMSWs to provide therapy full-time to clients presenting with a range of issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and work-related stress. Particular consideration will be given to candidates with at least one year of psychotherapy experience and/or post-graduate training.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to work independently and provide weekly psychotherapy to clients

• Maintain a caseload of 24-26 sessions per week

• Participate in individual and group supervision to discuss cases and develop clinical skills

• Remain organized and up to date with all required paperwork

• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and make referrals where appropriate

Qualifications:

• LMSW license in New York State

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields

• Familiarity with community mental health resources

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Ability to build a strong therapeutic alliance with clients

• Strong desire to improve clinical skills and advance professionally

• Experience working with couples, LGBTQ+/TGNC and BIPOC communities is a plus
